Provided we want to keep our form of government as a democracy, there is a lot of work to be done. Those in office now who are working to change the government into a fascist oligarchy need to be removed as soon as possible.

Trump and his cohorts want to limit or take away everyone’s right to vote, access to health care, ability to love and marry who they want, and it will result in less access to affordable goods and services. Our democracy would be replaced by an authoritarian government, health care for only those who can afford it and goods and services provided by fewer companies,  which determine prices in order to maximize profits. The rich will get richer and everyone else will get poorer. Pollution in all forms and climate change will get worse, because conservation measures will cease.

The challenges are being brought on by Donald Trump and his backers: The Heritage Foundation and some very rich right-wing people who want to change our government from a democratic republic to an authoritarian oligarchy. Next Steps

We, as Americans, must be active in removing Trump from office, either by making him resign or by electing enough Democrats in the elections in 2026 so that he can be impeached in the House of Representatives and convicted in the Senate.

Almost everyone can take some action. Reach out to the resources at the end of this website, attend meetings, find out how to donate your time, writing postcards, working the telephone banks, and attending protests.

• Attend town halls and speak up!

• Support Efforts to Impeach Trump. There are and will be efforts to introduce articles of impeachment in the House of Representatives. It is important to support all efforts, to make your representatives go on record. Use their lack of support for impeachment to use against them in their next re-election efforts.

• Boycott those businesses that bow to Trump and Project 2025. Here is a link to active boycotts. Scroll to the right side of the website for effective dates.

• Attend political rallies and demonstrations. A combination of efforts must be implemented. We need to get more people engaged and informed about the loss of our American democracy. Be ready to participate in a national strike!

• VOTE in every election. If all else fails (and we can still hold elections), then the only chance to turn the ship around is to vote the fascists and enablers out of office. If one or both houses of Congress gains a Democratic majority, then Project 2025 can be impeded or perhaps stopped! 

• DON’T GIVE UP! Even though you may not be personally affected, yet, you will be soon! Prices will go up, social security, Medicare and Medicaid are on the chopping block. Meals-on-Wheels, school lunches and even the right to vote have been reduced, eliminated or are in danger.

Use your social media platforms to spread the word, share this website and to increase the pressure on Trump! Instill fear in Republican representatives who do Trump’s bidding instead of that of their constituents.

Time is of the essence! We, the people, must take action now! Political action must include participating in a general strike! Be prepared. Take part. Be loud. Be tenacious!
